Our Advice to You
Exceptional service is created from feedback and open communication. A
successful temping career relies on you following a few rules of 'Temp
Etiquette' and below is a guide to help you stand out from the rest.
-
Be punctual. If you are held up or unable to get to work, please contact your
consultant before 8.30am so they can alert the client or arrange any necessary
cover.
-
Provide your consultant with your direct line so that they can keep in touch
throughout your assignment.
-
Be respectful of company dress codes. We recommend smart business attire unless
otherwise advised.
-
Arrange any personal appointments or interviews outside standard working hours.
-
Out of courtesy, we ask that you switch off your mobile when on assignments.
-
Any use of client telephones, internet, e-mail, faxes, photocopying and
franking facilities are generally not to be used for your own personal use
unless authorised by your line manager.
-
If you need to work overtime or through the lunch period, always clear this
with your line manager.
-
Be mindful of a client's Health and Safety Policy and at the end of an
assignment please leave handover notes and return your security pass.
Keep in contact with our teams. If you are not working through us, or are taking
a break, let us know the dates you will be available to temp again.
